Poetry by Jambo Stewart

Not today, perfect stranger

Must hurry, avoiding danger

Feeling cursed, somewhat crippled

Neurosis high, worries tripled

Shutters down, curtains drawn

Conspiring voices, paranoia borne

Lock door, deactivate phone

Payment due, another loan

Oppressors are watching always

Poisoning your lemon haze

Often difficult to evade

I dread being afraid

Now overcome, drop guard

Early steps, especially hard

Perseverance, calm, both essential

Stop fear ruining potential
